Happy hours are the best and in high demand. At today's gathering, we were matched with a friendly but completely untrained server, which was unusual for our experience with this chain.

Earls have done a great job to social distance everyone and all the staff wear masks . Service was great though. Saturday around noon and the place was busy, noisy and for some reason several groups that came in sat down and then asked to be reseated in another section so people were constantly moving about.

2 people in our party of 4 were still finishing their last bites when the server reached over to take the plates. Like the heat lamps. McDonald’s has better food.

Our food came out cold, our server (who we did not give us their name) didn't have much knowledge of the menu, and water was not refilled regularly.

Now's the time to support your favorite restaurants. We would rather have paid the full price and had a wonderful meal, but, if you are going to offer a deal it shouldn't mean scrimping on the quality or quantity.

Every staff member is wonderful. Kid-friendly.

I did not ask her to or had I made a big fuss when I received the incorrect steak.

I called and the manager said he would remake the meal and deliver it. The food made it to our table impressively quick and tasted amazing. Food was good as it usually is at Earl's and the setting is wonderful. When our bill came, unbeknownst to me, to her credit, the manager had removed the steak. I will visit again. Earls Kitchen + Bar - Ambleside is rated 4.3 stars by 480 OpenTable diners. The only good thing about the food was the hash brown potatoes (although the kitchen seemed to think that plates more than half filled with potatoes would make up for the rest).

Multiple people seated prior to us even though we had a reservation and they did not. Not sure if we'll be returning anytime soon.More. After bringing our meals we didn’t see our waitress again.

The Miso Sea Bass was a real treat , sticky toffee pudding was more link a steamed chocolate sponge but it was good. Meh sushi was congealed prerolled, service was slow and awkward - made a reservation for 1:15 was sat at 1:32- plexi glass was smudged, floors looked dirty - expensive for what you get - my mint on my cocktail was black and kinda slimy and the front of the bar ( last panel on the way to the bathroom ) drove me nuts ... why isn’t it even? Food was was below average for the prices will not be back. We both order half rack order of ribs. Took too long to take our lunch order. Due to local restrictions, this restaurant may not be accepting reservations at the moment. Ive seen the manager floating around but no one seems to know whats going on and the staff seem so unhappy. My only observation is that substitutions may be iffy.More, I ordered the 6 ounce sirloin (medium) steak and lobster tail.

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Earls in West Vancouver. Lizzy was our server and she was great.
